Applying Local Solutions Globally
Davis and Associates is a proud supporter of the Wounded Warrior Project Soldier Ride Program
Davis and Associates participated in the Wounded Warrior Project Soldier Ride. Soldier Ride is a Wounded Warrior Project initiative that provides adaptive cycling opportunities across the country to help wounded warriors restore their physical and emotional well-being. It is a unique adaptive cycling experience that honors our military men and women as they courageously battle the physical and psychological damages of war. Through the exhilaration of cycling, warriors embrace possibilities for the future in a supportive environment with fellow injured service members. Wounded Warrior Project provides equipment and support to participating injured service members at no cost to the warrior. Soldier Ride raises funds for Wounded Warrior Project programs and initiatives to ensure this generation is the most successful, well-adjusted generation of wounded warriors in our nation’s history. One of the members of our Government Consulting Practice participated in Soldier Ride.
Honor Ride
Davis and Associates also participated in the Wounded Warrior Project Honor Ride. Wounded Warrior Project’s Honor Ride is an opportunity for leaders of the business community to show their organization’s support of our nation’s wounded warriors. This more intimate cycling event is 25 miles in length and takes approximately three hours to complete. The course winds through the heart of downtown DC with a federal police escort. It allows participants to have the opportunity for more one on one interaction with our Wounded Warriors before, during and after the event. One of the members of our Governmental Audit Practice represented the Firm in this wonderful event.
